The first Good Shepherd’s House was established in the autumn of 2018 with the help of Loving by Giving, a partner in the UK. The house can home up to 10 young orphans. The young people who have settled into the house are in full-time education. Some in primary and others in secondary. They have terminal examinations in June 2019. Those in secondary education are paid for by sponsorship.
We have seen transformation in the lives of these young people over the last 6 months. They have grown spiritually by becoming part of the church family meeting at the Win All for Christ base which is on the same site. They are learning to be part of a community, growing in the knowledge of God's Word and in faith. They participate well in our ongoing Bible Fellowship on Saturdays and church Services on Sundays.

As we move forward, we want to develop the buildings on the site in Ngyeku Village. As you can see, the building is in an advanced stage.
We would like to raise funds to complete the building and provide space for more orphans. We hope to be able to accommodate the house-parents and others who will help with the ministry helping to educate the young people for life. This would also give space to plant crops and keep chickens. These are skills that will help equip them for the future. The 2nd Good Shepherd’s House run by Win All for Christ would also give space for the young people to develop other skills such as sewing and carpentry. Keep checking the gallery below for updates on how the building is coming on. If you would like to support this work, please get in touch! |
